Re: Uibh Fhaili Support
I was in the middle of the old stand (Kinnane) and could hear ye boys on the terrace. We were surrounded by Waterford. I was very dissappointed by the size of the Offaly crowd but not the support shown by us who did travel. What are Offaly people waiting for, an All-Ireland final?? Even if you took ...

Re: Offaly vs Waterford
There's a nice littlepub called Skehan's in the corner of the square just as you head for the pitch.

The U-21 management team wanted it to go ahead, but the players weren't strongly in favour. Six of one....

Would ye have a straight switch with Rigney or jumble it up a bit more?

Re: Offaly's best days - Ones when the supporters didn't show up
I was at them all except 1990. Like a lot of people, I got caught up in Italia 90. I vowed after that game never to put anything ahead of Offaly, and I haven't.

I was there and it was an embarrassment. If people didn't go becasue they thought we'd lose, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Faithful County me hole.

Re: Team v Limerick
I think we're solid enough up to Rory. It falls apart after that. Re. Joe Brady, I'm scratching my head here. Another good rattle given, like Clare a couple of years ago and Tipp last year. F*ckng sick to the back teeth of them, and the qualifiers.

Re: Hurling or Football???
Being from Birr, I'd have to say hurling, but like a previous poster said, I think we are a true dual county. I've never met an Offaly man from north of the county who didn't love small ball. I've met a few from my end who wouldn't be mad on big ball but by and large, we love Offaly, end of. My top ...

Are these still going? I thought I'd get at least one the night of the minor football. Also, no word re. the hurling team. Hope it's not gone as it's a great service.

Re: Kilkenny’s postponement request granted
And Laois have been told their relegation game v Antrim must go ahead despite having 3 dual players with the footballers down to play Longford the same day. Ridiculous. One law for the strong, one for the poor.

I heard it was 2-10 to 2 points to Clare at one stage. Joe Brady centre forward and Paul Cleary corner back in place of Verney.

Re: Under 21 hurling - Offaly v Wexford
I hope it's in Birr but I doubt it. The pitch looked excellent last night. Agree with a previous poster, Hernon's forst touch was brutal. Wakkie was very good and we did use the extra man very well. Thank f*ck Francie got the goal because Wexford were on a roll. He was very poor apart from that. Cou...
