Re: Fields- Good and Bad
Having been to Mount Bolus & Bracknagh, I would say Bracknagh was the hardest to locate, and I would consider myself local enough to know better. Signs were buried in ditches or grown over, big trees at the road so you can't see goalposts. Of the two, Mount Bolus is the better facility by a stre...

All the steel for the concrete and roof came from British mills.

Re: Tulamore Intermediates
It's bollox they couldn't field a team. Don't they run 3 teams? Couldn't they grabbed a few of the 3rd team. So how does this affect the scoring average for their group?

Re: Offaly Championship Football 1st Round
A week away from the start of the championship, and all we have are rumours of teams playing.
Depending on senior, inters to play first etc...it get's messy to be fair for the lower teams.
And just when heaps of lads are heading off on holidays....!!!!!

Re: Offaly Championship Football 1st Round
Seems amazing to not start the championship on the Friday night and have a proper weekend of it really. Well our County Fixtures Committee are a joke at the best of times, so don't go looking for a sane organised championship. Just ask any Junior player, who will probably get 2 days notice of their...

Re: An end to the Qualifiers
The qualifiers are a good and bad idea.Good for the fact that the likes of the weaker counties get a chance to play at least 2 championship matches.Imagine training flat out since Jan and then getting knocked out in the first round. Most of the weaker teams don't seem to be arsed with it but look at...

Re: minor football semi final
really unlucky, great performance, referee was dreadful Eddie Kinsella is a bit of a power-trippper. Was shocked when I saw his name on the programme. Knew him years ago, worked over near his country, and hung out in his company as we had mutual friends. Bit of an asshole and liable to get you into...

Re: minor football semi final
Dublin seemed fitter later on in the match which told a story. Noel Andrew Graham was wrecked in the end, should have been moved out of the centre. Some of the ball into Sullivan was dreadful. Never gave him a chance, hospital balls he had to fight for. Good fight in the team and a few nice players....

You have to hope for a good draw first out, get a win, that's all. See where you go from there.

They found a bundle of votes belonging to another candidate in with his. I think it was 3 x 1000 bundles.corner back wrote: Anyone else find it a bit worrying that Declan Ganley (like him or not) lost 3000 votes when there was a recount in the North West. Seems an incredibly large amount.

Re: The Leagues
The more I look at this the more angry I get. Look at Div.3. !!! They split the division in the middle so Tullamore & Rhode both make a semi-final, even though the were 7th + 8th place in the division before the split. Daingean & Ballycumber have to play-off first for a semi-final pla...

Re: The Leagues
Each team is getting 6 or 7 games and possibly a league semi or final. 3 Weeks later they will be out in the Championship So, it's fuck the Junior teams. Just give them a handful of games and concentrate on the Seniors & Inters! I thought it was brilliant to be getting a dozen or so leag...
