Re: Lost in the Bog
Well if its the county board trying to push this along alot of questions have to be asked. Why are they so interested in the Daingean parish and as LS pointed out why not the Killeigh parish? Seems to be alot of favouritism going on for some strange reason. There should be uproar in Killeigh parish ...

Re: Lost in the Bog
Long John (shtate of ya) you need to cop on and see the bigger picture .. You're obviously some idiot from one of the senior clubs that is scared sh1tless about a Daingean parish team forming and having the potential to do well in the competition.. Wake up and realise this is bigger than your pathe...

I see this topic is getting a mention again. The same lads probably.
For starters what gives them any right to think they should walk straight into senior if they did have an amalgamation.

Re: Hurling Championships 2011
if rynaghs won the junior A and dont go up to inter how are killavilla relegated? does it mean an extra team in the junior A next year? I would imagine that it is treated the same as the senior football where Shamrocks are relegated even though nobody will be joining the senior ranks in 2012. But m...

Re: leinster club hurling
Congratulations to Coolderry club on a tremendous win yesterday. They hurled well and it could have been more. Most lads hurled really well and what I will say is every one of them gave it 100% effort. They had great support yesterday and that seems to be a feature of Coolderry whether its junior B ...

Re: leinster club hurling
The very best of luck to Coolderry. I hope they do themselves justice and hurl the way they can. It would be great to see them win on Sunday. Oulart are raging hot favourites with such a big contingent of county panelists, their management have noted this and done their best to talk it down with inj...

Re: offaly senior football team 2012
NO U ARE MISTAKEN...REILLY WAS POOR THAT DAY AND AS TOWNMAN PIONTED OUT KIELY WAS ONE OF OUR BETTER PLAYERS We'll have to disagree. I remember the game well because he was so loose. Got on a bit of ball himself but Reilly got so many chances and assists. Reilly won a huge amount of ball but his sho...

Re: offaly senior football team 2012
Ciran Kiely is back with Gracefield for 2012 i hear, as for Allen not good enough for centre back who else! Scott or Ross Brady way to slow and haven't the football Allen has, Shane O'Sullivan would be the choice after Allen. The best two I am afraid to say are Mitchell and Sullivan. I think its th...

Re: offaly senior football team 2012
I attended a lot of the club games this year and seen all of gracefields matches bar one..i dont understand all the hype bout this ruairi allen..sure he's a strong lad and would be able to mix it physically but if he was to play centre back at inter county level he'd be out of his depth all togethe...

Re: offaly senior hurling squad 2012
i see where the Cha was gone from the kilkenny panel wouldn't be a bad one to have, i think with might see him in the Dublin jersey soon. Ah dont be saying that Townman. Those feckers have enough foreigners as it is. Cha's interview seems to have a bit of bite in it and alot of frustration. Maybe t...

Re: offaly senior football team 2012
mulhall is no where near athletic enough for outfield. yes a good club player but at intercounty; no way. we as a county have to start doing things better and a change is needed with the panel....alot of lads gave great service but ultimtly were not up to it...harsh but true.we need a balance to ou...
