Re: Kids dropped from development squad
Good posts above and far removed from the ignorant ranting that I've seen on other social media. One thing that should be paramount in all considerations is the physical welfare of these young fellas. They are still growing and developing and for years young teenagers have been training on a Fri nig...

Re: Under Age Championship Structures
Even though U18 has gone to U17 and U16 to U15, there was still a big big break for exams despite the fact that very few U15 players would be doing Junior Cert (too young) and very few U17 players would be doing Leaving Cert.

Toxicity's version of events is correct. That's exactly what happened. Hoganstand article is just going on hearsay. Don't see why the Martin lad couldn't just shake hands and enjoy his win. There's such thing as a bad winner as well as a bad loser.

Re: Offaly v Kildare, Senior football qualifier, 4th July
Encouraging display from the lads today. The match definitely turned about 10 mins from half time. Smith's injury meant that we were basically playing with 13 men for the last 10 mins of the half. I thought he should have been subbed straight away as it didn't seem like an injury he was going to run...

Re: Offaly vs Roscommon NFL Div 3 12th February 2012
Obviously there's a danger that constant criticism will knock the confidence of the players especially the younger lads who are just starting out at this level. There were a few positives about Sunday's match. (Anton's fitness level, John Moloney's performance, Bernard Allen continues to improve...)...

Re: Offaly vs Roscommon NFL Div 3 12th February 2012
Has to be said, some of the players do not have the required fitness level for inter county football. Quite a few tired considerably in the 2nd half. I don't know much about Brian Hanamy but the lad was wrecked after 10 minutes! Maloney did ok and Bernard Allen showed for and got a lot of ball in go...

Magnificent achievement for the lads today. Thoroughly deserved their win. Only gripe was the venue. Was that really the best that could be found for an All-Ireland semi-final?

Re: Intermediate championship
The hurling is killing Doon football. All their Brosna Gaels players seriously underperformed yesterday. Raheen are the team to beat at this stage.

Re: Darragh O'Se compliments Niall Mc
Says it all that Down sacrificed one of their best midfield/forwards (Dan Gordon) last week to nullify him. I thought he made a mug out of Gordon in the first half.
