Tipster's Competition - Round 8 Results

Post by Lone Shark »

Once again we have a single wearer of the maillot jaune, though all the main contenders were among the peleton rather than up with the leaders in this round of matches. Five players were split by a point last week, and in a week where four was the lowest score, three of the five managed exactly that, while Hocker and Fit for Junior accumulated a more average six. Hocker’s six is enough to give him the outright lead, though good scores from board stalwarts True Red and Mighty Pair O’Hands with eight points each have pushed them up a few spots.

Fullback gets the stage winners award, the one and only player who got six out of six for a maximum ten points. Most people fell adrift on Kinnitty’s surprise win over K/K – only himself and Turk called that one right. I’ve no updated fixtures yet, if anyone gets them, do post up the details. In all likelihood the McCormack/Regan cups will start with the next week where we have a decent chunk of games.

** Apologies for the cycling references - I promise no participants will be subjected to random drug testing.

You won't have much of a chance in the league, but by all means enter your tips from now on. Rynagh's Biffo came in late last year, and went on to secure the McCormack Cup in a blaze of glory!

Dammit this is annoying.

All I have to go on is the Aertel page and offaly.gaa.ie - neither of which have anything posted.

Anyone know the definitive fixtures?
