Yes, Sylvesters and Parnells are just full of great club men. Lads that would do anything for their Parish. The real spirit of the GAA.

long john you are the man....ive bin reading ur views for a while...and i think ur great. the way u phrased that last comment was tremendous....steeped in sircasm due to the influx of country players to both clubs.
lone shark...what are the odds on that game with parnell and st sylvesters?
i know nigel dunne plays with sylvesters as does john coughlan...and tierney , rooney and co with parnells...so its a midland battle in the capital....

I'm sorry but this is over my head, who from Offaly is lining out for these clubs?

As for the point about them not being loyal clubmen, without knowing the full story (or even who the players are), unless you've walked a mile in his shoes I don't think it's fair to question club loyalty just because they transferred to a Dublin club.

From that list it looks like just Nigel Dunne from Offaly. John Coughlan was Syls before he was ever Offaly, so he can't be accused of anything.

THE PLAYERS IN QUESTION ARE NIGEL DUNNE AND JOHN COUGHLAN.
COUGHLAN IS ORIGINALLY FROM THERE; SO LONG JOHN BASICALLY HAVING A JIBE AT DUNNE . HE HAS PREVIOUS FOR THAT ANYWAY :D
