Can't imagine there'll be too much pressure - I'd say they'll get 20,000 or so, not much more than that. About 1500 Offaly at most probably.
I'd be up for braving the hill all right.....

I presume you can just turn up on the day and buy a ticket or will they be even accepting cash at the turnstiles

Re: Offaly v Dublin Tickets
I'd say the former, DAF. You can buy tickets at the 'usual outlets' like the house across the road from Gill's, and a caravan at Quinn's corner. There'll be no shortage anyway.
I do think there is some value in €10 for the terrace for the football though. It's €3 for the kids too.
I see on the Leinster GAA site that it's €20 to sit at either the hurling v Dublin & the football v Wexford, while it's a tenner to stand at both. Now in fairness, given the times we live in and with petrol now €1.53 a litre, the trip to Dublin will be prohibitive for alot of people and that's understandable.DAF wrote:I presume you can just turn up on the day and buy a ticket or will they be even accepting cash at the turnstiles

Tickets went on sale today, Section 308 of the Cusack Stand, was going to chance The Hill but went against it in the end.

Re: Offaly v Dublin Tickets
Ya as I thought, all the talk of tickets got me panicky. I know it wouldn't be like the GAA to have their fixtures published wrong but I thought I'd double check anyway....where's my sarcasim button???

I'm expecting at least 75,000 at this.
They might start to fade away after the Shamrocks match though...
