I think PJ Ward has to be in that team if he is fit. I would have Brian Connor in midfield and put McManus on the half forward line and I would have Ciaran Kiely in before Stephen Lonergan on the half back line.

I would go for...
1.Alan Mulhall
2.Pauric Sullivan
3.Scott Brady
4.Brian Darby
5.Ciaran Kiely
6.Shane Sullivan
7.Karol Slattery
8.Brian Connor
9.John Coughlan
10.Niall Darby
11.PJ Ward
12.Ciaran McManus
13.Ken Casey
14.John Reynolds
15.Niall McNamee

I would say the team that started vs Kildare is be very close to the starting team. I am not saying he should be(so dont ate me anyone) but i would put any money on Richie Dalton starting centre back. I think Shane Sullivan should start(not necessarily at centre back) but not so sure if he will.

If theres one thing you would have thought the management would have learnt from last year its that Richie Dalton is not a centre back. He was way out of his depth against Kildare. I'm not sure which one but one of the Darby's is out with a torn hamstring.

The thing that frightens me the most is that your probably right ! Hopefully Darby will be ok. One thing we have a very small full backline and the Meath full forward line are very good in the air they will win it any way it is kicked into them really, also Pauric Sullivan is not the fastest..

Also it doesn't look like Niall Mac has a chance of playing either , he may actually be picked in the starting 15 but has no hope of playing....
