We are having our annual Charity Match this Saint Stephen's Day in Brosna Press Park , Ferbane at 1:45 p.m.. It will be a soccer match between the men and women of the G.A.A. Club and the soccer club with the losers being forced to do a forfeit (yet to be decided, suggestions welcome!)
It is in aid of Holly Moore who was born recently with a whole in her heart and will require operations to rectify it in the new year. She is the daughter of Paddy Moore who was our captain this year.
All support is welcome. It always proves to be great craic and it is in aid of a very worthy cause. There will be activities for the kids on the day and there will also be a raffle on the day.
Hope to see some of you there.

Re: Ferbane Charity Match
Despite a frozen pitch we managed to play the match on the astro turf pitch in Gallen Uniteds grounds and the day went off well!
The game ended in a draw as did the penalty shoot out...anyone would think it was a set up! ; )
We raised just over 2000 euro for a good cause so thanks to all who participated and helped in any way
