Re: Offaly 2009 Senior Hurling Championship Semi Finals
Excellant stuff POTH that is a lot better than the shite that is wrote on the local papers.. One thing I do disagree with you though is you say Peter Healion had 2 good hours against Joe Bergin, I wasn't at the first game but I though Begin roasted him in Birr although Healion caught some good ball ...

Re: Interview with Sean Lowry
I think this interview only enforces what was thought around the county about Richies appointment, it was a "done deal" before the interviews even took place. If Mickey Harte, Jack O'Connor and Mick O'Dwyer had been interviewd as a joint management team thay wouldn't have got a look in. So...

Re: edenderry v shannonbridge
hardly fair that such an important match be played under lights on a wednesday night especially for shannonbridge who have to go all the way to walsh island... plus the bridge only played on saturday evening hardly had time to recover from such a hard match against gracefield They also had to trave...

Re: Will there be relegation from SFC if Rhode win Intermediate?
Just wondering what would happen in the event(Which is not too unlikely) of Rhode winning the Intermediate football championship? Will Shannonbridge or Edenderry get a reprieve? Surely Rhode, although their second team would probably get to a SFC semi-final at least , would not be permitted to have...

I don't know how you can say this. I thought they cancelled out each other. Super only won a few balls when R. Mooney went off.

Re: Reeling In The Years 2 Club Football 1988-1998
Also Tom Coffey of Ballyfore lined out for Rhode in the 1998 County Final. That though i'm not certain of. Some cretin robbed my programme that evening. I'm still looking for them  At a guess I would have thought Tom Coffey of Ballyfore transferred to Rhode a couple of years after 1998. I ...

Re: Reeling In The Years 2 Club Football 1988-1998
I'm missing a guy from Daingaen - a very useful forward - that may have been in with the County during these years. He's my final sub. Name that sub! Would it be a Spollen lad that played in portlaoise against kildare in 1993? Yeah that is Pat Spollen. He was gifted. Not to many people know that he...

Re: OFFALY VERSUS TIPP
Couple of points, Shane Sullivan will never have the pace or concentration to be a man marker. I saw plenty of praise last year for him against Weatmeath, until his sending off. Thats because we had so many men behind the ball. As for Raff, absolutely brutal when he came on. His attempt at picking ...
