Re: LSHC 30th May Offaly v Antrim Parnell Park 3:30pm
Was in Parnell Park yesterday. A very frustrating performance. We recovered well from a sucker punch of a start. This can happen and scoring 1-8 without reply was exactly what the doctor ordered. At this stage we were cruising and were certainly in a position to kick on. But as happened against Lim...

Re: offaly SHC odds.
Defending champions at 14/1.
I understand why this is the case, but surely its one of the very rare times that the previous years' winners are ranked well outside the odds.

Re: LSHC 30th May Offaly v Antrim Parnell Park 3:30pm
Owing to the fact that I was not in attendance today,I cannot defend or indeed criticise the performance outright, especially when one is relying on Gerry Russell's analysis. But,a win is a win. Considering the manner in which both the media and with the noises coming out of Offaly about this game be...

Re: LSHC 30th May Offaly v Antrim Parnell Park 3:30pm
Jaysis boys, this is heart wrenching stuff. I'm listening to delayed coverage on http://www.midlandsradio.fm/Sport.aspx Sounds like an epic encounter. It has me leppin' around me living room here in Peckham. Although I'm not sure if my heart would be able to take it if I was in attendance. Molloy's s...

Re: Walsh Cup
Good sthuff.
Finally some consideration when it comes to potential fixture clashes.
Even though its not exactly the business-end of the season,at least we have the chance to get behind our teams and hopefully rile them up.

Re: 2010 O'Byrne Cup - Offaly 1-23 Kilkenny 0-6
Apparently he can kick from either foor quite comfortably. Never knew he was into football, always thought he stuck with the tanball. Not sure how he'll fair out in this team, but I hope he can offer something constructive and positive, although I have my doubts about it. He is known,in fact notorious ...

Re: Tullamore in leinster final
Jaysis! Thats ruddy great news altogether. Wholly unexpected to see such a u-turn regarding the venue, but much appreciated nonetheless. It'll give us that little bit more of a chance,in a game where nobody is giving us a prayer. There should be 10,000+ in attendance which will be a huge boost to Tel...

Re: Clara vs. Portlaoise - Leinster club semi final 22/11/2009
Judging by the way Michael Delany was speaking afterwards,I wouldn't be surprised if it's played before the hurling final in O'Moore park next Sunday. If that did come to pass, then it'd surely be of some benefit to any travelling Offaly contingent. Although, rationality would suggest that any re-play...

2-12 to 0-11. Allez Allez Allez! Gwan the Town! I must say that I am very proud at this moment in time. Tullamore were thoroughly deserving victors on the day,and to be fair over the meaningful stages of the county championship. A number of aspects from todays game are worthy of mention. Firstly,is ...

Re: Offaly .v. Wexford - SFC Round 1 Qualifier - 4th/July/2009
Just to be curious, how many posters on this site will take in the two games on Saturday ? I get the impression somehow that very few will bother to make the effort. When you hear of excuses of times and travel and being caught behind traffic and so on Iv'e a feeling there will be a tiny percentage...
