Pretty sure there isn't I think yellows are just yellows, it doens't make any difference. Wouldn't swear to it though - this is usually where Treasurer steps up to the plate .....
What would Brady's chances be if he appealed the 2nd yellow card from Sunday?
He instinctively protected his midriff from a Wexford player who had fallen over and was careering into him.
Even moreso than before, this sending off seemed extremely harsh and it never looked like he did anything more than "stand his ground" as a player charged/fell into him.
Maybe the ref will mark it lightly in his report when he realises what he let Forde away with.
in fairness it was a disgrace for Scott to be Sent off when Forde played the full 70 minutes for an assault that, had he done it outside croke park he'd be in court for.
It is true that the Wexford player did tumble into Scott Brady who merely stood where he was and I dont think that is even a foul let alone a carding. However if you look closely at the tv replays, Scotts right hand does move towards the Wexford players head as he falls. You cant see if there was any contact on tv but I think the ref was standing directly to the right of the event and may have seen or thought he saw something more than a tumble. It would be interesting to know exactly what the card was issued for.
