Haven’t seen Brosna Gaels hurl this year but Ballinamere seem to be on a different level. I’d fancy them to win tomorrow night and the final. But I could be wrong !!

You'd imagine Ballinamere will account for Clodiagh Gaels given results to date. However, beyond that I think Brosna Gaels would be too strong for a Ballinamere second team. Unlike other years, Brosna Gaels football teams are all out reasonably early and so they will have way more prep and player access as a result. It isn't a long time ago since Brosna Gaels were competing in Senior B so they certainly have the talent to win the final.

Brosna Gaels were a decent Senior team in the early 2010's. When only 1 senior grade existed.

That’s 13 years ago 😂. If they were any good they would still be senior.

Both junior A & B finals are on this Saturday.
In the A final Ballinamere take on Brosna Gaels in Kilkormac at 3.
In the B decider Birr take on Gracefield in Rath also at 3. I think these will be 2 tight games.
Prediction-
Ballinamere 3-16 Brosna Gaels 1-18
Birr 2-13 Gracefield 0-16

Not too sure about the junior A but from what I hear Ballinamere very strong, can’t see birr being beat in the junior B, strong side but I do think gracefield will give them plenty of it

Ballinamere 0-13 Brosna Gaels 0-7
Birr 0-16 Gracefield 0-4

As predicted Ballinamere & Birr win the Junior finals today. Both teams were the best in their grade and deserve to go up. Interesting to see how both fare out next year

With Joe Errity manager of the Birr team today and his brother Martin manager of the Crinkill team last year , is this the first time 2 brothers have managed 2 different teams to junior titles back to back ??

Brosna Gaels never got going today. The missed goal chance in the first minute set the scene for the day. Ballinamere were the best team.

An interesting nugget re: the Errity brothers, can’t imagine it’s been done before but who knows??

Gracefield never really got going today but a great year for them all the same, hopefully they can build on the momentum next year and get back competing at junior level. Credit to Birr for always keeping them at arms length - a few tidy young fellas - Barry Whelehan one to watch for the future!!

3rd time lucky for Ballinamere but as Dodge said they did seem like a different animal this year with a few lads who would have played senior last year tipping them over the edge.

Roll on the big one tomorrow now.

Great win for Birr by far the better team.

that birr team should compete well at junior a.

It is a pity junior b and junior A finals were set for the same time.

makes no sense

Who was relegated from junior A hurling? was there a relegation playoff?

I know a few teams gave walkovers. is there a rule regarding teams giving walkover getting automatic relegation. nearly sure somebody mentioned this previously but could be wrong.

Carrig & Riverstown pulled out of the championship before a ball was pucked so I’d imagine they will be relegated
