Never nice to see but we’re all behind Kieran in wishing him a speedy recovery. Fair play to the Ferbane players for their support yesterday too.

Is it not an open draw at semi-final stage?

Rhode/Tullamore in one pot. Q-Final winners in the other.

Yep this is apparently the format they use but surely teams from the same group should be separated if possible too? Otherwise we could see Tullamore vs Ferbane and Rhode vs Edenderry again...

Agreement there Onionbag.
Cappincur will be stubborn but Durrow have better quality and depth to get over the line and get back in good shape for next year.
Ferbane should have no trouble.
Shamrocks have the forwards but Edenderry have quality all over the field - the question is do they have the minerals to see it through.

As long as durrow don’t play like the last day they should have too much quality for cappincur, even if it’s tight, a win is a win is a win. Shamrocks are definitely capable of an upset against Edenderry but I don’t think they’re as well balanced and will fall short , is cian Farrell close to a comeback does anyone know ? Ferbane to win also

Ferbane v Clara. Clara disappointing this year in all bar Durrow win. Ferbane should be up there challenging but appear to be just scraping by at moment. Draw with Cappincur and narrow win over Shamrocks doesn't put them in challenger territory. That said, they really gave Tullamore (albeit a weaker Tullamore team) a good hard game which suggests otherwise so they are a bit Jekyl and Hyde. Ferbane by 5 or 6 at least.

Reckon Cappincur could edge it here. Lots of experience in these games, and they really put it up to Shamrocks and Ferbane in group stages, drawing with Ferbane and losing in tight game v Shamrocks. Durrow on other hand have been very poor this year and seem to have regressed a lot from last year. They seem to be struggling to get scores for some reason and will not score easily against Cappincur. Cappincur to escape again and edge it by by 2 or 3.

Edenderry are expected to win easily here but they are far from finished product. Remember how they fell away last year v Ferbane without Farrell. Lots of young players too who have not won much so not sure how they are considered such easy winners here. Shamrocks only lost to them by a point or two last year and Shamrocks are coming off a narrow loss to Ferbane who are rated as contenders - so I'd expect it to be lot closer than an easy win for Edenderry. Edenderry by 2 or 3.

Anyone know if Jamie Evans from Gracefield is still knocking around? Seen he wasn’t named on todays match panel, thought he was someone who could contribute to the intercounty setup.

ferbane were cruising and for some reason lost concentration. game looked well over tho as the final whistle approached. 4 points in injury time is some going.. the wats the scor app said 61 63 64 and 66 min. this could possibly be the making of them. fault lines look to exist tho at the back from 1 to 4.. if they can sort out that...

Sounds like Ferbane and Durrow both got out of jail.
Anyone at Erin Rovers v St Ryanaghs on Friday? 6 men sent off apparently.
