Brendan Bugler is a teacher in St Flannans in Ennis. Thats a lot of driving on training/game days.

According to this twitter a/c Trevor Fletcher is staying with Shinrone, Denis Kelly is staying with Kinnitty and Arien Delaney has taken over Belmont.

Delaney had Shinrone going relatively well in 2019 until their annual 1st knockout stage implosion so it’s an interesting appointment.

all star I'm presuming you are just going by results this year anyone who has watched offaly hurling would know Birr are not that far away. The beat the county champions by 13 pts. yes they were awful in some games this year but they they played with a sweeper and a short game not sure if it worked.

only a year ago they beat coolderry by 25 pts so to say they are behind them and not closing the gap is stupid if anything.

It’s well and good beating Rynaghs by 13 points but they did not do enough in the games before that. And beating Coolderry by 25 a year ago and Coolderry being so close to winning it this year shows how much they have improved. Birr are still some way off winning a county title. I’d be surprised if they win it in the next 3-5 years.

Heard Paul Murphy is over Carrig & Riverstown this year. Any truth in this ??

Be surprised if this was the case considering he guided Clodaigh Gaels to Senior B title.

They have a good age profile and could pick up a win or 2 at Senior A against the likes of Seir Kieran or Kinnitty.

murphy gone to carrig is correct. they should be front runners for that and it seems a very good appointment. probably didnt want to manage against birr in 2022.

Paul Murphy managed Seir Kieran for 3 years (2016-2018,I think he replaced Billy Dooley mid season in 2016) so Id be pretty sure he mas managed against Birr.

Id say he felt he’s brought Clodaigh Gaels as far as he can.

Hard to know how strong Carrig & Riverstown will be this year. Few young lads will go traveling if restrictions allow. And one of their better players from last year has transferred back to Crinkill. They still should be good enough to give it a rattle

Hard to understand how C&R can't get out of that grade. They should be at higher end of Senior B if all was right.

As for the larger question, any updates on the following?

Senior Hurling
Rynaghs - Ken Hogan staying on?
Coolderry - Brian Culbert
KK -
Shinrone - Trevor fletcher
Birr - Brendan Bugler
Ballinamere - Seamus McKeogh
Kinnity -
Belmont - Baker replaced by Arien Delaney
Clodiagh Gaels - Murphy
Clareen -

Senior Football
Tullamore - Niall stack
Rhode - Malachy mcnULTY
Ferbane - THE SAME WITH GER RAFFERTY IN AS COACH
Durrow - Adrian Farrell
Edenderry -
Shamrocks -
Cappincur -
Clara - Dalton/ scanlon
