Well done to Shane, huge win for him and his family!
Not a huge golf fan meself but we were glued to it last night and some of his shots under pressure were unbelievable.
Serious amount of goodwill towards him across the sporting fraternity, and he appears to be as popular outside the county as inside.
A great ambassador for the county!

Great day for Shane and Offaly. It even made the Sunday Game last night, and was featured on RTE Radio this morning.

What an absolute legend of a man. He's a hero. He really would make you so proud to be from Offaly. Going through all the tweets last night he is without doubt the most popular sportsman in the country. All the best for the rest of the weekend.
