Hi fatlad. I'm another Offaly man living in Kildare, but I dont have any contacts with the local County panel. I saw similar reports as you gave above on the Kildare GAA Forum (yep, they have one too) http://kildaregaa.proboards18.com/

As far as I can make out, the Admin of that Forum is the County PRO, so they should have good sources of info. So when these rumours appeared in the last couple of days and were NOT firmly rebuffed, I was getting a little worried. They were along the lines of "deals" being worked out before the DRA meeting, which is I suppose a distinct possibility in GAA "Politics".

Anyway, now we know the truth, I'd love to be able to throw that right back at them. But I cant. I tried to register their Forum, intending to be a long term participant as I have already become involved with my local Club in Kildare. But I was refused registration. I hope they're not like the OWC folk on that forum. :D

I gave up trying to register on the 4th attempt - there's only so much rejection a body can take. :)
