Credit where its due, a lot of criticism after the Kildare game, and they did regroup well.

Fortunate in the end but Jaysus , we deserve a break at this stage in these tight games at all levels.
Well done to all and great experience for the group to come out of Navan with a result in these circumstances.

Brilliant performance by Offaly tonight. Special mention to our own Luke Kelly - didn’t make the 24 match panel for the first two games and 1-02 and 0-4 in last two games.

Dublin next Wednesday evening in Parnell park.

A really good performance last night.
Started well and bar a couple of errors defensively midway through the first half, Offaly set the tone right through.
Good quick ball into the forwards and great work on the breaks all over the field gave Offaly a serious platform to build an early lead.

Solid overall display with some really good passages of play, and there are a few players with significant potential to develop to senior.
Delighted that the management got to turn things around after the Kildare game, and yes Laois were poor enough it must be said, but there was a great workrate and style of play about Offaly last night.

Dublin away next week will be a serious test, but they have the monkey off their backs now and just go and attack the game. I think if this side caqn win reasonable primary possession and move it quickly then they could cause teams problems.

I see Wicklow beat Longford so they play Kildare in the other semi final.

Men against boys in the end there this evening.
But shot ourselves in the foot in the first half when we butchered too much chances and ball plus gave away cheap scores.
Ref didnt help at this stage either.
Could have pressurised Dubs more and see if they responded.

But in the end we are struggling physically, too many lads turning back with the ball, and others not showing strong enough and turned over far too easily.

We have struggled with the kick out all year and got badly undone today also.

I don't think the Dubs will beat Kildare , who were beating Longford out the gate last I saw.

I’ve said it a thousand times if i ever said it once

Offaly teams, at all levels, in both codes, no longer are able to physically compete with teams at the level we aspire to be.

Its all well and good whipping laois and Carlow, they’ll stand back and let you play. No one at this age from dublin or kildare has reason to fear an offaly jersey. These teams will simply not stand back and let us play football.

You have to earn the right to play. You have to break even in most sectors at least, at which point your footballing ability can come to the fore. Look at the kildare underage teams. Theres some of them bigger men than what we have togging for senior.

Till the day we fully embrace S&C culture we will fail to consistently compete at a higher level.

Difficult evening for our boys. Didn’t help ourselves with the amount of soft ball we gave away but ultimately we just didn’t get near enough to threaten their goals especially in the first half. Forwards lived on scraps throughout whereas Dublin seem to be able penetrate us a lot easier. Both sides kicked many scoring chances wide. Ref seemed to be unfair to us on occasions.

All that said, they never gave up and battled to the very end. After the Kildare game, it was a good turnaround for this team and the Laois game being the obvious highlight. Decent Offaly support last night.

Would expect Kildare to beat Dublin in the final.

grasping at straws maybe but the goal chance in the first min of the 2nd half sealed our fate id say. if we got that dubs might have wilted a bit? and the high ball into the square seemed to panic them..but overall dubs were just stronger physically.and that goes a long way.

Hopefully we can start matching teams in terms of physical fitness in the near future. A lot of work in that area for the development squads

Listening to tomas o se earlier on off the ball

Echoed a lot of the same sentiment regarding offalys physical development
