Marauders from the West (i.e. Supermacs) have taken over in Ferbane and while you know what you'll get, it isn't exactly inspiring stuff. Can't think of any great candidates out our part of the world to be honest, God help us but Trailermacs in Ballycumber might have the lead!

What a topic?!! Sure what would anyone here know about chipper food and we on pontificating about plyometrics, weight programs, strength and endurance!??
I would suggest the most many of us know about strength and endurance is the fight to get to the front of the queue in Supermacs in Tullamore of a Saturday night.
New chipper in Daingean is quite good, the chipper in Kilbride Plaza in town , and from years back on me trips to the hurling in Birr, (and after Melbas on the odd occasion) Tony's was a great spot.
Aye Loneshark, that why Ferbane underage are on the comeback, Supermacs never quite replaced the legendary fattening skills of John Corcoran!!

I'm duty bound to say that it's Ginger Stewarts in Clara :D

Much as it pains me to say it - and it doesn't quite qualify for best Chipper in Offaly - the Roma in Kilbeggan is top-class, if you can avoid the masses of tumbleweed blowing down the main street.

LS, the generic Italian Chipper up the back of Hineys has a lovely back of Chips. I say Generic, because every time I hear a 'new chipper' has opened, it's the same place as teh last one, with a new bunch of lads.

What's the chipper beside the High Street House in Tullamore? That used to be lovely.

Think it has to be Macari's in the Market Square Tullamore. It's clean and the food is good. Supermac's is not bad either.

Anyone know who that is? I think it could be local entertainer Dave Lawlor, but I can't be sure in that light.
