I'd be interested in seeing what the criteria for "referee of the year" is :lol: :lol: :lol:
I've no issue with either ref who received the award I'm just curious.

For the hurling award i would have gave it to stephen Egan great year he had for tullamore.

yeah not surprised dooley got hurling award but don't think a lad that misses 2 penalties in a county final should get it..... thought egan should have got it...

Just wondering how the handball nomination was secured? Did that young Hope chap not get to a World Final?

As far as I know Michael O'Brien actually won a world handball title this year, can remember seeing a picture of it in the Midland Tribune

some stage during the year. Not saying young Hope didnt get to a World Final, but O'Brien definitely won a World title.
