Birr Vs. K/K

Anyone at match at the weekend? Couldn't make it, how did the game pan out.

All this talk of pitches and I can't find any info on what goes on on them!! :D

The match turned out to be a bit of an anti climax really. K/K kept in touch up to about the last ten minutes but I think from that point on (and maybe even earlier) it was obvious there was only going to be one winner. It wasn't a great display of hurling from either team with both sides shooting a lot of wides, Birr more so than K/K. Birr seemed to be hurling within themselves for most of the match and seemed capable of upping the ante if required. Not too unlike the first semi final the subs brought on by the winning team made more of an impact and ultimately this made the difference, Stephen Brown in particular showing his ability by shooting three good points.

Yessssss! I've achieved my aim for the season and secured promotion to Junior B status. I can retire for the year now! :lol:
