Welcome aboard - excellent username by the way. A wave of nostalgia washed over me briefly when I saw it......

Haven't been at any of the games, but it has been a fine run. Nobody could say they got an easy draw, three games including a Dublin team and local enough rivals, it was a hard earned final appearance. This is a fairly new competition, and I certainly don't remember any Offaly club ever reaching the Leinster final, but somebody might be able to correct me on that.

I'd better not enter a prediction though, I'll only be flooded with attacks on Monday if I do .... :P

If memory serves me correctly, Clara not only reached the Leinster Final of this competetion, but won it a few years ago.

Maybe that clown from Moorefield was right....are you loosing your edge?

Thats a joke of course

While I occasionally daydream about Clara being relegated, I'm pretty sure it hasn't happened to them, so who ever else did well in Intermediate, it wouldn't have been them.

We can all hope however..... :D

Clara won the leinster junior title.

No offaly team has won the intermediate title in recent memory - Erin Rovers got to the final or semifinal 3 years ago.

I thought these intermediate and junior competitions were restricted to the clubs first string teams? Hence Ballinamere/Durrow entering the junior hurling this year.

Your right, 2003. Time is flying by too fast for me!!

They bet us, think it was something like 2-9 to 1-7 or there abouts.

Indeed....it was a Junior Final that Clara won! I could do one of three things here:

1) Claim that I thought Tubber were in a junior final...I'm sure that would go down well
2) Claim that I was testing the Shark to see if he was still on his toes/fins?
3) Admit that I was wrong

I'll have to go for number 3 to retain and kind of credibility here!
