Cappincur beat K/K tonight to leave the final standings in the group: Clara, Cappincur, Daingean, K/K.

Any word on Killeigh and Ferbane game in the other group? Im assuming Ferbane won which would leave it: Ferbane, Tullamore, Killeigh, Ballinagar

Q/Fs
Clara v Ballinagar
Ferbane v K/K
Cappincur v Killeigh
Tullamore v Daingean.

Would favour Clara or Daingean at this stage.

Oh dear, poor Ballycommon.

Were key men such as 'Prawns' & Billy Conneely playing?

Peader & Donie must not have been able to do anything about it from the line anyway.
Probably just stood there with their arms folded in that classic Declan Ryan pose.

was at this game..no offence to ballycommon but clara made them look like a poor junior C team! cant believe how strong clara are ... upto 8 or 9 players that would be on every senior team in the county apart from Rhode and clara senors! even the subs that were intruduced were all good footballers...hard to see them been stopped this year

the state of your life HSM.. get out of here. we want you out of the forum, out of the county and back to wherever you came from. nobody here likes you really and the cut of your profile makes me laugh. you're no fit to walk the ground that peader graces. ballycommon are an up and coming junior side and are strongly tipped to be senior in the next 2/3 years. and then we will see whos laughing about billy and the boys... ya fool

Please stand for Ballycommon's club anthem...

"There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fevered pitch and it's bringing me out the dark.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear,
Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your ship bare,
See how I'll leave with every piece of you,
Don't underestimate the things that I will do.

There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark.

The scars of your love remind me of us,
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all.
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
I can't help feeling,

We could have had it all,
(Your gonna wish you, never had met me)
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart in soul,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Baby, I have no story to be told,
But I've heard one on you and I'm gonna make your head burn,
Think of me in the depths of your despair,
Making a home down there as mine sure won't be shared,

The scars of your love remind me of us,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
I can't help feeling,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart in soul,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Could have had it all,
Rolling in the deep,
You had my heart in soul,
But you played it with a beating.

Throw your soul through every open door,
Count your blessings to find what you look for.
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold,
You'll pay me back in kind and reap just what you've sown.

(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
We could have had it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all.
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
It all, it all, it all.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep
You had my heart in soul,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep.
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart in s, oul
(You're gonna wish you never had met me

But you played it,
You played it,
You played it,
You played it to the beat..."

2 quarter finals down for this weekend and the other two the following weekend.

This weekend see Ferbane v Kilcormac/Killoughey go at it in Ballinamere on Friday night at 7.30 under lights. K/K are left in a good few adult competitions and Im sure they could have done without this with a Senior Hurling semi final next weekend. Nonetheless, K/K will have a full panel to pick from and on their day they are a match for any team. Ferbane have lost a few to the Seniors with more than one been lost needlessly going by their game time seen they were used. They still have quality in their ranks and will up up for the battle. K/K will have plenty of ability all over the field and this one could really go either way.

Clara and Ballinagar face off on Saturday afternoon in O'Connor Park. On paper this looks like a Clara landslide but group form and challenge match form will go out the window in the heat of championship. Clara have been the form team in the championship and will certainly fancy their chances. Ballinagar on the other hand are a proud and committed club that will give everything to the cause. If their forwards can get motoring, they can cause Clara some problems. Whatever happens, Ballinagar were in a relegation battle last year and have turned a corner this year by qualifying for the knockouts.

LAds is the Ferbane game in Ballinamere tonight? I heard Geashill, and I'm coming up from Limerick so I want to be sure before I leave.

K/K 0-13
Ferbane 0-6

Looks like K/K might have notions of winning this yet.

Bit of a late run by K/K. They could pull off the JFC.

Clara 3-17
Ballinagar 0-7

Ballinagar looked well out if their depth. It's also difficult to read too much into the result from a Clara perspective considering the sub-par standard of the opposition.

I was at this in the end. It actually was in Geashill after all. Apparently a large crowd ended up in Ballinamere before being diverted on to Geashill. Not good enough. Luckily I rang one of the lads and he told me it was Geashill.

Kilcormac's fitness was the difference between the teams. They were far to well conditioned and speedy for Ferbane. If it was a tug of war, Ferbane would have won it easy :D I don't think Kilcormac would beat a footballing side that were as fit as them. If there's any side like that left, I don't know, but some of the Kilcormac kicking betrayed the fact that they are focussing on the hurling more. Their fitness will blow away a lot of teams, but the football might catch them out eventually.

Yes AZ, that was a late switch, not all people heard about it!
Any views on next weekend's quarter finals in Gracefield, Killeigh v Cappincur at 4pm, and Tullamore V Daingean at 5:30 pm

Cappincur & Daingean to win and make the semi-finals. I think Cappincur will win with 6 or 7 points to spare. Daingean to win by a goal.

If this happens, it'll be the 2nd year insuccession that 4 teams from the one group make the semi-finals!
