Kk worlds apart from everyone else at this age group.

A pattern that started since u14 level with this team where they have too many top hurlers across the field.

A remarkable 6th U20 in a row with a probable 3 in a row for the Senior team in 3 weeks. It never works out like this but from season 2023 to 2033 K/K could pick up 8 or 9 senior championships.

Maybe they will but they'll need few physical players to come through. Mitchell is that now but off senior team at moment, still very reliant on Slevin, Kilmartin, Mahon and Gorman and they only have couple yrs left.

CRC have closed that gap too on u20 group which is interesting.

It wasn't CRC though, it was CRCC. So if the gap has closed it might be down to coolderry now being part of the u20 set up.. Kk could have had multiple more goals. Liam hoare pulled off an unbelievable point blank save. 6 counties in a row is some going and the seniors I cant see being bet this year either in offaly.

15 of yesterday’s starting K/K team are eligible to hurl for K/K.

7 of yesterday’s starting team are eligible to hurl for Coolderry

7 of yesterday’s starting team are eligible to hurl for C&R

1 is eligible to hurl for Crinkle.

If you’re seriously suggesting one of the teams most likely to challenge K/K over the coming years isn’t even currently a senior A team then I have to politely but very strongly disagree.

Think the poster is referring to closing the gap at u20grade. Not senior grade.

If coolderry were not with CRC yesterday they wouldn't be near the final.

Just be clear on that same next year.

Kk were deserved winners yesterday CRCC simply did not show up. Liam Hoare & Andrew Hogan the only 2 players who performed. How man of that Kk team are over age next year ?

Not sure but the equivalent K/K team didn’t reach the U17 final in 2023. This was won by SBK who beat St Rynaghs so they should really set off as favourites for the 2026 U20 championship.

The elder statesmen of that Kk u20 team look a bit jaded at the moment, they have done a lot of hurling over the past few years.
They showed their class in the end, but at times it was the younger lads, Brian & Oisin Guinan, Odhran Fletcher, Oisin Carroll and MacDara Mitchell who were to the fore.
There probably isn’t an u20 team in the country to beat KK.

Our lads battled hard for a while but there was nothing they could do when KK turned on the afterburners.

As for CRCC going forward, it’s hard to know what will happen. This group has had some success but at younger levels, things aren’t going so well with our lads and Crinkill often training separately to C&R

At what age groups are they training separate to C&R ?
