Re: Fixture Clash this Saturday
Didn't sleep a wink last night worrying over which game to head for. Over the porridge this morning decided feck it, i'll head to thurles but its going to kill me to miss the football. A week is a long time in gaa land, this time last week who would have thought this decision would have to be reached and as bad as we feel lets all spare a thought for poor oul Sean Ryan.

It's looking like Thurles for me.
Its 9 years since I missed an Offaly championship game in football, but it had to give some time I suppose.

Thurles for me, phone in one pocket, wireless in the other.
Coincidentally, will Midlands Radio 3 be airring the Offaly Down game or the Laois Longford game?

I'm thinking Thurles as well, but I'm disgusted. I was really looking forward to the Down game as well. I think Offaly have a better chance in that game even.

Its a disgrace that we are forced to make this decision but its Thurles for me. Have to support them after the effort they put in last week.
Offaly awoke never more to sleep.

There's a train to Portarlington at 20.46, arriving in Port at 22.25 (change at Newbridge(!!) it looks like). Up and down like a yo-yo.
Train to Portlaoise at 21.43 arriving at 22.13.

Sound Thanks.
Should be a great offaly support at the game.
by the sounds of it the footballs might as well be playing their game up in newry.
