Offaly minors beaten by Wicklow

2-14 to 0-8.
As far as I'd heard, Wicklow had a decent crop this year, whereas Offaly were a little bit shorter on quality.
Lets hope Offaly come back stronger next year.

Yes there is. The six losing teams at the weekend will go into two groups of three and round robin style with the winners of each group going into the quarter finals.

Its a relatively young team in terms of age and experience this year for Offaly from what i hear. did Nigel Dunne play? he was carrying an injury. he would have been a big loss to them. the Back Door games will be good for their development.

Nigel Dunne did play and top-scored but was obviously not fit.

Not many excuses though - Wicklow were clearly better on the day.

It must have been very disappointing for all concerned - after training since October.

Hopefully they'll find some form in the next stage.

Anybody know the draw for the Losers Round Robin?
