They’ll need a strength and conditioning coach in if they want to win that…JohnnyBoy24 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 10:16 amBord na Mona man wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 7:58 am Remembering Eoin Downey preventing an Offaly goal last year with a rugby tackle.

The atmosphere is much more special in a sold out county ground than a 25% full Croker and given the fact Offaly will account for 90% of the crowd we should be happy it’s in a county ground as it amplifies our voices even more and no matter how strong-willed a referee is, that has to affect some of his decisions.JohnnyBoy24 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 3:50 pm Wouldn't begrudge lads their day in Croker , but a strange one the u20 b hurling is being played in croke park and the main event is being played in county grounds
I don't disagree with ya , more so gonna be alot of disappointed people Monday morning when Ticketmaster invariably crashes , there wouldn't be any issues if it was croke park. Think back to u20 football final was no shortage of noise that day.Anonymous1 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 4:04 pmThe atmosphere is much more special in a sold out county ground than a 25% full Croker and given the fact Offaly will account for 90% of the crowd we should be happy it’s in a county ground as it amplifies our voices even more and no matter how strong-willed a referee is, that has to effect some of his decisions.JohnnyBoy24 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 3:50 pm Wouldn't begrudge lads their day in Croker , but a strange one the u20 b hurling is being played in croke park and the main event is being played in county grounds
It might be just me but I don’t enjoy hurling in Croker, I think it’s too expansive and leads to more route one hurling.JohnnyBoy24 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 4:17 pmI don't disagree with ya , more so gonna be alot of disappointed people Monday morning when Ticketmaster invariably crashes , there wouldn't be any issues if it was croke park. No chance are we agreeing to give Tipp a home game but I do agree on the time.private joker wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 10:33 pm 7 15 is a crazy time. If its a dark evening, going to be tricky leaving the venue. Every possibility that it goes to extra time. No floodlights either. Thurlus far better venue. Easy access and used to hosting big games. Croke park would also work. More neutrals would go to croker or thurlus.
