There's an area called Eglish in the Parish of Eglish & Drumcullen looking to start up a Gaelic Football team and we're just wondering how'd we go about it, if even possible? We use to have a Football & Hurling Team back in early 90's, 1939 or 1940 was the last account I've read about them playing (Senior Hurling Semi Final against Coolderry I think). I know there'd be alot of work but all yer help would be much appreciated and as there is no Gaelic Football Team in the Parish already I wouldn't think there would be many people objecting. Could anyone also get back to me with contacts from other clubs in Offaly like Raheen, Killurn, Crinkle etc who would have done the same and contacts from the County Board who might be able to help. If ye have any other opinions on this I'd be happy to take them on board.
