Was at game yesterday, strange sort of game in ways..goals killed us in particular the quick succession of them..a good performance for sure, the sending off gave them abir more leeway obviously and they did drive on from there to finish...bearing in mind Cahill was off for a large chunk of the game...the wides we hit in first half were crucial too but look at least we gave it a right go, it will certainly bring us on..

Assuming Cahill got injured? Any idea of the nature of the injury?

Limped off with what looked like a muscular injury.

Was pleasantly surprised by minute 35-55 against Waterford, more than held our own and actually scored more playing into a gale.

Two goals in a minute really killed any momentum we had built in the first half.
Kiely’s 4 or 5 first half wides were also demoralising, but as pointed out here already, there may have been no out ball available.

Sam Bourke was very impressive throughout.
Brian Duignan and Eimhin Kelly were the best of the forwards throughout.
Hopefully Cahill and Conneely aren’t too badly injured.
Will be great to get Oisin Kelly and the 2 Ravenhill’s back and competing for spots.

Looks to be much the same team that started against Waterford, with the only changes being Mark Troy making his league debut in goals and David King in for the suspended Leon Fox.

Cahill and Conneely both went off injured last week, will be interesting to see do they start.

Mitchell only came on for NUIG last night, which you’d have to imagine is load/injury related.

Killian Sampson played 40 minutes for UL.

Match on TG4 Saturday under lights but would be great to see a good Offaly crowd make the journey.

5 Durrow lads on the team, apparently.
They must have published the football lineup accidentally.

Apparently? I think it’s fairly clear that there is.

It speaks testament to the great work going on in the B/D club.
It also reflects changing demographics, as 2 of the players are sons of former county players from the south of the county.

Shocking to still be trying to create stupid rows over what part of the county lads are from, especially given you are from a dual club in that same area.
I don’t see any Clara lads on either football or hurling panel, the teams must have been published accidentally without them, were they?

Calm down. It's just some sort of misunderstanding...they'll send out the correct team soon, no doubt.

Is the point not been made that of ballinamere should be named as they are the hurling wing? Same with Shirley, why put down Tubber when bronsa gaels are the ones who promote hurling where as Tubber do the opposite.

Think it’s based off home club, which they seem to apply across the board, except when it comes to Ferbane and Belmont lads.

In lovely Wexford for this evening’s match.

Eoghan Cahill out with injury.

All the talk is that a certain Killoughey hurler will make his senior inter county league debut from the start.

Best of luck to all.

Savage stuff. Kelly has them on the right path.

We left it behind us.We could have had a man sent off as well for the helmet pull.
Should have got the win but weather conditions were shocking.

kiely immense but caused a lot of needless fouls and frees.
I think our fitness and conditioning needs improvement.

Great game from duignan and great goal.

Our half forward line was very poor in the second half when we needed a score.

Also you have to remember all the other established wexford players who didn't get a game.

The kilkenny and clare games will tell a lot .

Eoghan Cahill was a major loss . He would have got a point or two in the second half for us but fair play to duignan who was decent on the frees.

Jury is out on Kelly.
We might win the joe McDonagh Cup but I don't see what he has done so far.
