Re: League & Championship hurling 2022
Some midweek games in the Division 1 League this week.
As mentioned previously Shinrone beat Seir Kieran.
Kilcormac / Killoughey comprehensively beat Lusmagh 4-24 to 0-10.
But the standout result was in the Belmont game vs Tullamore - Belmont 8-22 Tullamore 3-06. That is an absolutely crazy score for Tullamore to concede. With no Oisin Kelly.

Kinnitty and Seir Kieran are the targets. Are they optimistic?

Tullamore claiming the score was 2-8 to 7-21. How could there be such a difference? Anyone have an official score?
Re: League & Championship hurling 2022
A lot of hurlers concentrating on football in tullamore.

A note to acknowledge Edenderry's first hurling league campaign in quite a few years, finishing second in the group too. Well done to all involved.
Re: League & Championship hurling 2022
Seen them hurl against Crinkill a couple of weeks ago. Some decent hurlers in their ranks. They were 7 points up at 2 different stages in the game but lost by 3. Crinkill are junior B and Edenderry junior A. Hard to judge by the league but it could be a tough year for them at junior A again. I thought after winning junior B couple of years ago they would kick on. Perhaps this year will tell a lot

Re: League & Championship hurling 2022
Must be some concern amongst senior hurling clubs that there is a possibility the SHC will be postponed if Offaly reach the Tailteann Cup Final.
Cathay Flynn (Belmont) and Dylan Hyland (Clodiagh Gaels) were named on the 26 for the New York game.
Ideal scenario - Offaly beat Westmeath, John Maughan allows the lads that hurl back to their hurling clubs for the week and after Round 1 of SHC Offaly still have 2 weeks to prepare for final.
A lot of goodwill would be forthcoming from the clubs for that. Obviously not so much if the SHC is postponed due to 2 players that aren’t on the first 15.
