Look to me at this stage that even with 3 rounds to go that 5 of the 6 qualifying slots are set in stone. St Rynagh's, Kilcormac/Killoughey, Belmont, Birr and Shinrone. With St Rynagh's and Kilcormac/Killoughey to go directly to semi-finals.

The last place looks like it will come down to a last round game between Coolderry and Kinnitty. I don't foresee Ballinamrere winning another game thus they will finish on 2 points. A Kinnitty win over Coolderry would see them leapfrog Coolderry (providing Coolderry don't win on of their next two games) and seal the last Q-Final spot with 3 points ahead of 2 points for Coolderry and Ballinamere.

Ironically Kinnitty would then make the knockouts with one win from 7 which would really show up the folly of this current championship structure. That probably won't come to pass as if it came to it Coolderry would be warm favourites to beat Kinnitty.

This weekend I'll go with:
Shinrone
St Rynagh's
Kilcormac/Killoughey
Belmont

Just on the fixtures, it’s hardly fair that Ferbane are hosting Lusmagh and C&R, while Belmont play Kinnitty at the same time in Mucklagh. Just saying …
Good Luck

I thought the exact same myself...some of the venues are strange geographically for the teams involved...

Big win for Rynaghs. Coolderry are not going well after another defeat. Rynaghs , KK county final by the looks.

Hard to see past K/K or Rynaghs at this stage..
Unless one of the other improve.
Birr were useless tonight they need to get everyone back for the knockout stages to have any chance of progressing.
Rynaghs were on top for most of the game as the scoreline suggests.

Birr were bad but will improve for knockouts. Belmont and Shinrone gonna have a big say, no way is it a two horse race.

Who are Birr missing?

As Shannon banks has said, Belmont and Shinrone will have a say in it yet. Belmont are tipping along nicely with Oisín Kelly yet to come back. That being said, they left it late yesterday. Damien Egan with a late 1-01.
Shinrone with a comfortable enough looking victory over Ballinamere also. Knockout will tell.
Good Luck

Birr were missing Cahill, Taylor, Verney and Dylan Watkins with Brendan Murphy coming on just before half time.
They are all over the place and need to get everyone back with a team that has a steady look too it.
I agree with Belmont and Shinrone they could have a say in it yet I just think the big two are still ahead of the rest.

both Belmont and Kilcormac SHOULD have struggled to get results against Coolderry and Kinnity at the weekend, the games were close, how close would them too games have been if the referee had dished out straight red cards to at least 9/10 players between the 2 clubs after the disgraceful brawl in the previous round...Killian Kielys card was over turned but that only excuses some of the strokes some pulled in the melee and got away with..if both teams had multiple suspensions for last few rounds this championship would be looking very different...the likes of Kinnitty in particular are the loosers from what I see..
