I wouldn’t get too worried lads it’s not going to be Paddy Kirwan, alltheway was on this about 2 weeks ago and said he was appointed and surprise surprise it didnt happen then and it’s not going to happen now, alltheway is either trying to stir sh*t for the laugh or someone is filling him with sh*t, either way i guarantee Kirwan is not getting the job.

I heard it's a done deal that ollie baker will be appointed.
So we aren't actually straying too far away from the Paddy Kirwan model!!

What management has Ollie Baker on his CV? I don't want to dismiss the man out of hand, but there is a danger of going from just picking former Offaly hurlers because they have medals, to picking a former Clare hurler because he has medals. Has he done anything at club, underage or ideally Fitzgibbon level?
Kevin Egan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

He was a selector and coach with Westmeath a few years ago, he served as a selector and trainer during Mike McNamara's ill fated spell in charge with Clare and has also been involved with Antrim. Not fantastic managerial experience just a couple of selecting roles really, hope they dont pick him.

He managed Roscrea in 2010 and 2011.
They haven't made any strides.

But Joe Dooley won 3 so this is a step backwards!

Aye, but Baker won a Club All Ireland as well, which Joe Dooley never did.
What did the likes of Francis Forde and Eamon O'Shea ever win?
