Hard to tell, there's a lot of competition for the big games.townman wrote:will your own club man get the football one day

Re: Brian Gavin
Congratulations Brain, he deserves this IMHO, he always tells you what the free was for straight away, doesn't take any sh*t, and allows the game to flow as much as possible. He'll definitely let both teams hurl which should make for a great final. Hopefully he's completely anonymous!

Re: Brian Gavin
Congratulations to Brian on his appointment for the Final. One of the best referees in the game, and is long overdue. He must be one of the youngest All-Ireland referees ever.
Hope the match goes well for Brian and his team of umpires.

Well done to Brian on getting the big gig.
It was surely only a matter of time as he has been one of the top refs in the game.
Hopefully the game is an uneventful one decision wise.

This is great news. It's a great honour not only for the man himself but also for his club and county.
A superb ref, I've no doubt the day will run smoothly.
Congratulations Brian.

Re: Brian Gavin
Brian Gavin has gotten the nod for the 2013 final also.
Great recognition to be given two finals in two years.

Well done to Brian. hope he has a good game.
There is a bit of me sad to see an Offaly man in the middle of corker for the final when i would love to see an Offaly team there instead.
but next year a bit of luck, a good manager and we can be there!
