You wud have to fancy ST Brigids. I would make them 6-4 fav for this champ.

Then between Clonbologue Raheen and Durrow to face them in the final!

RHODE 1-7 V 0-11 BIRR
DURROW 1-13 V 0-12 SHANNONBRIDGE
BRACKNAGH 1-6 V 3-10 BALLYFORE
CLONMORE HARPS 0-10 V 1-9 KILCLONFERT
CLONBULLOGUE 1-10 V 1-4 DOON
ST. BRIGID'S 0-16 V 1-9 RAHEEN
The fight is won or lost far away from the witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road; long before I dance under those lights

Clonbullogue 1.7 - 0.10 Raheen

Poor game last night. Clonbullogue started the brighter but went in at half time 2 points down 6-4. Raheen then burst out into the second half and were 9-5 up with 15 minutes to go when clonbullogue had a man sent off. Raheen employed the extra man in defence,Clonbullogue then got a lucky goal to put a point between them. A bad injury to Padraig Bracken 10 minutes to go held up the game for around 10 minutes when he jumped for a high ball and seem to mistime it and hit the ground head first. The long break seem to benefit clonbullogue as the had the Raheen defence under pressure and to late frees near the end levelled the scores, altough clonbullogue could of snatched the win but had a few wides. Very dirty game with 9 yellows and 1 red (harsh enough red). Would of been a better game only for the rain showers before the match making the pitch like an ice-rink.
Twice we had the chance, but well get one more

st.brigids have to be the outright favourites to win inter.. young players coming through like cian donoghue... they are the only team in inter that would pose any real threat to the average senior team at this time...raheen, birr, durrow are good inter teams but would not be able for senior

RHODE 1-8 V 0-7 BALLYFORE
SHANNONBRIDGE 1-13 V 1-6 BIRR
DURROW 1-10 V 0-13 BRACKNAGH
ST. BRIGID'S 2-16 V 1-6 CLONMORE HARPS
CLONBULLOGUE 3-17 V 1-11 KILCLONFERT

Here guys are the rest of the results.

This means the quarter finals should shape up as follows:
Rhode (1) v Doon (4)
Durrow (2) v Raheen (3)
Ballyfore (3) v Clonbullogue (2)
Shannonbridge (4) v St Brigids (1)

Clonmore Harps V Birr in a relegation battle - Id fancy Clonmore to scrape this one and stay up.

Not a great standard or great year in Intermediate this year by any manner of means and if Brigids dont regain their Senior status it will be a big shock.
If a bookie was quoting I would have them as low as 1/3 to take the title.

Rhode, Durrow, Clonbullogue and Brigids should all overcome their respective opponents in the 1/4 finals.

Am I missing something?
Raheen have been very poor this year.
Shannonbridge are the same - neither of these will be competing at this level for a few years..

Rhode seem to be a team getting better and better and putting some big scores.
Clonbullogue and Ballyfore - This will probably be the tie of the round - Still though Ill stay with my first prediction.
