Pure Mule - Rynaghs on the map!

Post by Doon Massive »

Pure Mule/sh*te:
The latest attempt from RTE at a drama to reflect modern Ireland, set in Banagher.
I presume they will feature a load of lads going to a hurling match, followed by a feed of pints and then struggling to get home from Birr/Tullamore at 5 in the morning with a quare one in tow.

An Edenderry version of the programme would need to be shown well after the watershed I would have thought :)

Btw, was the Harbour Bar listed in the top GAA pubs in the county???

The Harbour Bar is no longer

It has been closed for months now and rumours abound about the sale of its license. A great spot in it's day.

:( Well that's bad news indeed. Many's the night etc.....
Full of colourful characters too.

Its a slim hope it'll fall into the right hands I suppose.

And Doon would be the place to have something like that??

It's certainly where you'd find the quarest of quare ones.

They also have an airfield. And a motorcross circuit.

I never like to see anyone slagging Doon. It's one of my favourite suburbs within greater Ferbane.

Different parish!
Face it, Ferbane doesn't cut it, I really feel sorry for all ye Ferbane people, trying to be accepted in Doon, looking for a sense of belonging, if that makes sense.

Ferbane is SO passé
