Surprised by that when I heard it. Castleisland Desmonds would be part of the St. Kieran's divisional side in Kerry, and they were playing the next day in the County Championship against South Kerry. You'd have to imagine that the best Desmonds players would be with St. Kieran's and therefore not going to be togging out for a glorified challenge match the day before.

What sort of team did they have out?
