Rynaghs v Coolderry Minor match

Post by athlumneyboy »

heard this match was abandoned due to accidental belt on the head to Kevin Connolly who had to be hosiptalised. also luckily one of the Rynaghs lads mother was a nurse who did great work. It begs the question should there be Doctors AT al underage games incase of this happening. I want to wish Kevin a speedy recovery.

Oh Jesus, hopefully he'll be alright. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to him.

As for the doctor thing. I don't know if this is necessary but maybe the home team should always have a physio trained in first aid and available to both teams.

There needs to be a bigger drive to provide first aid training to people involved with teams as a priority.

As for having doctors available at all games it is not feasable. espescially when you consider that the CB failed to provide the U16 Hurling squad with anyone when they travelled to the Tipperary tournament last month
