Surely at the start of the league all clubs are sorted for managers

If clubs are included in this thread they must have an outrageous 10 year plan.

Surprised by the St Rynagh's decision.

Liam Dunphy and James McGrath are highly enough regarded. Maybe they left of their own regard.

Denis Byrne seemed to be making some progress with Coolderry and they improved on 2022.

Both management teams only got 1 year which is probably not ideal.

Apparently Kinnitty and Seir Kieran are also on the lookout for new managers with the departures of Damien Fox and Barry Whelahan respectively.

Brian caroll taking coolderry. The rynaghs one is very odd. Those two would not have gone in for a one year stint. Were well regarded by the players too.

One and done seems to be a more regular occurrence these days. Hard to really put a finger on why, maybe clubs who perceive themselves as contenders are just more impatient these days and want instant gratification. Personally I’d be an advocate for continuity where possible.
Seems rare for outside managers to ever go past two years with the same club now unless they are winning titles.

It's very easy to blame an outside manager and use him as the scapegoat when a championship isn't won or things go don't go as expected.
