An average winning margin of 11.3 points over their 6 games makes Edenderry firm favourites for the final in my eyes.

As expected a comfortable 11 point victory for Edenderry in the 2020 Junior B hurling final tonight over St Rynagh’s.

They could make a decent stab at this year’s Junior A.

Tomorrow’s Junior A final between Kilcormac and Kinnitty is a trickier one to call. They’ve both been attempting to win this for the last number of years and always progressing to the latter stages without getting over the line. The greater depth in numbers may see Kilcormac ove the line. Marginally.

Great to see Edenderry back hurling and winning a championship. Badly needed boost for the area in terms of the small ball, hopefully it kick starts young lads to pick up the hurl and start playing again.

Junior A championship is always a hard one to call and very entertaining, best wishes to both teams.

Surprisingly comfortable 12 point victory for Kinnitty over Kilcormac in the 2020 Junior A final over the weekend. 2-15 to 0-09.

Big winning margin is a surprise, Kinnity’s first Junior A title in 20 odd years.

The last of the 2020 adult championship hurling finals have been fixed.

Intermediate Final, Coolderry vs Shinrone on Saturday August 14th in Birr at 5pm

Senior B Final, Drumcullen vs Kinnitty on Saturday August 14th in Tullamore at 5pm

Senior A Final, Kilcormac vs Banagher on Sunday August 15th in Tullamore at 3pm

Quite interesting to note that either Shinrone or Coolderry will have two “Senior” teams for the 2021 championship. Fair enough, Kilcormac have this too but with their sheer volume of players it’s nearly expected.

I do laugh when I read these headings "they will have two senior teams next year"....this never happens that I seen anyway, Rynaghs had the same some years back, but the Clubs still only play one senior A team the following year...

Well we do have 2 “senior” competitions so as one of Coolderry/Shinrone will enter both competitions then yes they will have 2 “senior” teams.

Absolutely. Senior B is still Senior.

If you are hurling Senior B and you are stating your grade on a transfer or sanction application, you state 'Senior'.

I’d be fairly confident in saying that that is not allowed.

Ballinagar
Clara
Doon
Edenderry
Kilclonfert
Rhode
Tullamore

Junior B winners from 2020. Clubs can’t have more than one team at any grade.

Is that an offaly bye law? That only one team per club in a particular grade?
