Yes, by far the better team, but they dont put teams away, will need to be more clinical against the Dubs to have any chance.

Think offaly need to be at least competitive before trying to win silverware. If the current level can be maintained and built on over the next 4 to 5 years I think offaly might win one. Galway will whip this Dublin team.

Slow start and a dubious penalty.

Dublin seemed well on top, until the closing stages, then Offaly got it back to a point, but Dublin made it 3 points at the close. That’s following the score on Offaly website.

Minor Semi Final- Kilkenny 3-23 Offaly 1-16 we absolutely fell apart in the last 15 mins, their fitness showed us up in the final quarter. Harry Shine did an awful lot of damage. Kilkenny made way better use of the ball spreading it to the wings, where as we were running down the middle into trouble.

U20 game was there for the taking, got off to a slow start but the real killer was the two goals, both of which were preventable. We also missed a couple of soft frees, likely would have lost in the final anyway but that team isn’t far away.

It never really felt like the minors would win even when they got back to within 2 points with 10 minutes left. Decent performance all the same for this group.

On the back of a minor final from last year, the future certainly looks a lot brighter for the Offaly hurlers.

Both u20 and minors battled well . U20s might have snuck it. Minors did well to keep score down till last 15 minutes. Kk looked very strong and had a lot of goal opportunities and took none in the first 10 minutes. Overall I'd say offaly definitely moving in the right direction.

Unreal win for the lads. Cormac Egan, Jack Bryant, Cathal Flynn, Morgan Tynan and Rory Egan were all outstanding. The future is very bright for Offaly football...

Absolutely fantastic win my god I haven’t seen an Offaly team preform like that in years! The passion, the aggression, the discipline, the skill just fabulous to watch. Young Egan man of the match with a great interview talked about teams of the 70’s and 80’s.

Well done everyone you deserve huge praise , I hope you realise what a lift this has given the whole county,

Brilliant and absolutely delighted to get a win. Extra special beating Dublin given the level they have been at at this grade since 2010 (4 wins and beaten finalists last 2 years). Enjoy tonight and we’ll worry about Cork tomorrow.
