Can hardly include shefflin. He was done in 2015. Never the same after 2010 injury, he was used as a sub for some matches also if memory serves me right .

Shefflin leadership in 2011 and especially in 2012 final is the reason why he would be the first forward on that team for me.
The point I make N connors.,b walsh or P horgan cannot compare to shefflin jj Delaney or T walsh on all ireland final as they delvered whereas the other have not.
M fennelly and R hogan who have delivered on the big day.
On reflection my team would be
É murphy
J tyrell
D burke
J J Delaney
T walsh
P maher
B maher
M fennelly
Tj Reid
H shefflin
J canning
R hogan
S callahan
N mcgrath
All had huge performance under pressure on all ireland final day.

Kilkenny won 4 finals
Tipp won 3 finals
Clare Galway and limerick won 1 each. But to be fair kilkenny tipp and Galway were consistent throughout the decade.

PJ if you watch back the drawn 2012 final you would surely reappraise your opinion on Shefflin; he almost singlehandedly kept Kilkenny in that game.

Yes, but that was one game. Remember, it team of the decade. 2010 to 2019. He was finished in 2015. How can he be included when he missed haft the time?. Also red card vs cork or was Waterford? He also was coming on as a sub in matches. No way he makes the team of this decade, but definitely the previous one.

N connors B walsh and P horgan didn't produce a performance on all ireland final day which was any where as impactfull as shefflin was in 2011 or 2012, that why he has to be there. Big man on the big day.

Cant have someone on the team who played 6 minutes in 2014 all Ireland and never felt the weight of the ball. I think your view is been coloured by what he did in the previous decade. Shefflin wasn't even named in the "unlucky to miss out" group. Very good hurler who was finished in 2015.

É murphy
D Burke
JJ Delaney
Sean Finn
Brendan Maher
P Maher
Tommy Walsh
M fennelly
D burke
Tj Reid
Bonnar Maher
Henry Shefflin
J canning
S Callanan
P Horgan

Put Finn in as rep of LK who whave been as impressive team as i have seen over last 3 years.
Feel bad leaving Brick Walsh out - surprised so many didnt include - won 4 All-Stars in a team that only reached one All-Ireland Final in the decade which is phenomenal!

Tony Kelly is an honorable mention that isnt already mentioned - hurler of year in 13......

Others in hard luck are Richie Hogan,
Noel McGrath,
Colin Fennelly has couple of All-Stars too in the time....
Jackie Tyrell
Anthony Nash
Noel Connors

If we want to exclude Shefflin because he was done in 2015, the Tommy Walsh was done for 2 years before him.
Cody lost confidence in him after the 2013 championship when he was starting to be bettered by opponents. Colin Egan gave him huge problems in Tellamore in the Leinster championship for example. After 2013 his only appearances were a couple of cameos off the bench against beaten dockets.
