Unbelievable chance to reach at least a Leinster Final by beating Wex in semi after that. Should be a good weekends work, the future is looking good.
Can't see them getting over Dublin to be honest. Dublin won the Leinster Minor in 2018 scoring 6-19 in the final against Kilkenny (6-19 to 7-12!!!) so it would be quite the surprise if we knocked them out.

Also we haven't been in the same stratosphere as Wexford in underage for quite a while. Even after we had that great win vs Dublin last year, Wexford were comfortable 5 point winners over us in OCP.

Dublin missing luke swan and a guy from Thomas Davis who are both excellent. It will be somewhat close.

It's hard on the Dubs in fairness having to be without key players due to U20 Football final, our dual players back in the squad a long time ago, but that's the way it goes. Their loss is our gain.

Think Offaly will be without one, possibly two players for Saturday. Best of luck to players on Saturday. Pity we can’t be there.

U20s lost 2 16 to 16. First 10 minutes were poor. A lot of wides and poor shot selection. Came back well and had it at 14 a piece before two goals finished off the game.

very quiet on here after the U20s loosing..many were thinking Offaly would win with Dublin without some key dual players, anyone at the game..0-16 is really not going to win you a game now adays, maybe for the time of year its a decent enough score (not mighty though now really is it?)...goals win games and with Cathal Kiely injured didnt help..we could have done with this win...

The under 20 game was on YouTube.

Offaly were trailing throughout the game but got level in the final quarter after the water break. They conceded two goals then just after they got level.

It looked like Dublin were the better team throughout but offaly did well to get level and were in a position to win until they conceded the goals.

At least we are reasonably competitive at this level. The lads gave their all and were unlucky to come up short.

You can look back at the match on tg4 sport YouTube channel.

Yes, Offaly were unlucky with the concession of the goals, though Dublin were slightly better overall.

But the main thing is that we're competitive at this level. In past years Offaly teams shipped some serious routs at U21, often with several senior panellists on the team which made it worse.

It's much the same with the minors. We are now producing teams of a comparable standards to the leading counties in Leinster.
If we can improve our development of players as they enter adult grades, we'll see better outcomes for the senior team.
