Re: National Foothall league Div 2 predictions
I’d be rather more cautious regarding Clare. Consistently playing at a higher level and have gave some very good teams ie mayo and kerry plenty to think about in recent seasons. Apart from a provincial game against meath we can’t really say the same and took a huge beating against derry who are very...

Re: O'Byrne and Walsh cups 2022
decent start to the year for both the hurlers and footballers. footballers with 2 W's and a competitive loss which could have just as easily been a W. great to see clonbullogue get the W in leinster. apart from keith o neill, is there anyone else who could come into the intercounty panel? Similarly ...

Jesus lads theres no two ways round it. Will be a year of bad beatings in the leagues, hard to see where the footballers are going to pick up points.

Re: Club Hurling championship
A lot being made of Cloghan football. Its one of the only clubs in the south west of the county trying to keep the game going. Ruling changes things for next year so a lot of those same players will have to play with Birr, presumably as its geographically closer. There is a twitter thread out there ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Just wondering, has anybody been keeping an eye on Gracefield this year? They had a lad on the Carlow IT team that that got to the siggerson cup final a few years ago, the same team as Cian Farrell. Did he ever push on or enter maughans consideration for selection?

I’d say he’s being lined up to be Maughans successor.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Jesus lads its hardly news that we’d struggle to play any selection of Tipperary panelists? This year not withstanding its a lot of the same group of players who have struggled representing offaly at various age groups. Do you think any serious hurling county would have been given a run of it by Sli...

Re: Offaly v Kildare Leinster SFC 1/4 Final 2021
Same old failings. -No kickout strategy. Landing ball aimlessly in top of kevin feely who is arguably the best fielder of a ball in the country was madness. We don’t have big men, and we either need to draft some in or else find another way of securing primary possession. -Cunningham isn’t paying hi...

Re: Poll: Will John Maughan and/or Niall McNamee stay on or leave/retire?
Would Maughan rather be known as the man who took offaly up or the man who couldn’t keep them up? He’s always talking about the commute from mayo to offaly and I’m sure he’s at the end of his current contract. If he stays and offaly get relegated it’ll probably look poor on him. Who comes in to repl...
