Re: offaly minor footballers
I've asked before... what facilities are there in the county for doing strength and conditioning work with both adult and underage squads?? Are there any? Where do teams currently do their strength and conditioning work? Is there a plan in place for that? Is there someone overseeing the S&C work?

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
I felt KK completely lost their shape they were just hoofing balls down into the middle of St Thomas' backs. what happened to using the width of the park and making space? the lack of space suited the bigger Thomas' backs. they took off the only man to score from play. 1-1. I asked it before but I didn't get a reply
What are the gym facilities like in the county for strength and conditioning work?
Is there a central gym for all county panels, or do players just use the local crappy gyms in hotels, leisure centres etc.

I would agree that Maher is quite loose, but his positional sense is excellent and he will play a lot of ball once he is let
A very direct on player running at him would draw a few frees if you ask me

Re: Club Fundraising Ideas
If you have a decent sized hall run youth discos. expenses are basically the insurance and dj €10 in. sell minerals and water. you need lots of people there to steward and I think you've to inform the Gardai you will be having them. 3/4 of them a year will provide a steady income. have them on the F...

Re: Clash of the Ash, is this the end?
true
but an oversized hurley is a huge issue
at least if the child has a timber hurley you just take it off him and give him a smaller one from the club

Starting to see more and more kids with the fiberglass hurls. They are the future and if they like them as kids they'll play with them as adults. They don't break and in the current financial climate it will make sense for a father with a few kids. One 28" will do the whole family, as will the...
