Re: Election 2020 laois offaly
Pippa has some gig. Not even a TD and she’s claiming a Junior Minister’s wage. I find this abhorrent to be honest. Not a chance she gets in. The Greens are going to get wiped out and her days on the national political gravy train are over. I saw lately her husband Mark really trying to deal with th...

Re: Election 2020 laois offaly
Carol Nolan is a sitting Independent TD. But we only hear about her when election comes around. I had forgotten about her as I have never seen any refrence to her doing anything. Maybe she has, but very low profile. She would probably split a vote with any potentian SF candidate as that was her mai...

Re: Club football championship 2023
Ferbane and Edenderry have qualified for the semi finals, defeating Bracknagh, and Durrow respectively after today’s quarter finals. Ferbane had an impressive 3-15 to 0-7 win , while Edenderry left it late to overcome Durrow 1-11 to2-7. Durrow added just a goal in the second half, while the winners...

Re: Offaly Senior A Hurling Championship 2023
Very little thought gone into this but: Birr to beat St Rynaghs Kilcormac / Killoughey to beat Tullamore (strangest location choice for an Offaly SHC game in my lifetime by the way) Ballinamere to beat Seir Kieran Shinrone and Belmont to draw Getting into the interesting stuff. Last chance saloon r...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2023
Martin I don't think was ever going to be the man to take over full time but fair play to him for his efforts since Liam Kearns passing, he performed the role with great dignity. It's almost 2 months since Offaly's exit from the Tailteann cup and the club championship is well in motion. Do we know ...

Re: Club football championship 2023
Bracknagh 0-09 Edenderry 0-09, low scoring but weather might have played a factor, anyone at the game ? A fine day, but there was a strong wind favouring Edenderry in the opening half. They led 0-5 to 0-3 at the break. Bracknagh went for goals, when points were an option. Edenderry’s No 1 had a few...

Re: Club football championship 2023
Edenderry are under performing at senior level i think. Should be more competitive than we have seen from them in last couple of years. Tullamore annihalated Clara by 20pts this evening and it wont sit well with Clara GAA supporters. It was as poor a performance I've seen from a senior club team in...
