John Allen or any other manager worth their salt wouldn't come near Offaly unless there was serious money being put up. Maybe the County Board can spend the hurling development budget on an outside manager.
Should the County Board take responsibility for the state of hurling and resign in masse?

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Hopefully the lads won't humiliate Ireland and the GAA in front of the SKY cameras on Sunday. I've been told Cody and co. have been told to try and not do the dog on it and leave the game somewhat competitive.

Re: OFFALY Hurling 2014
Means you can employ one fulltime coach to run the development squads, schools of excellence/secondary school training /s+q training ect. Knowing us this will be wasted somehow.KillougheyGoBragh wrote:€45,000 a year grant from GAA to Offaly CB to improve hurling at grassroot level within the county! Its a start I suppose.

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Management 2012
I read that Diarmuid O’Flynn piece. So Dooley has had 4 years, won 4 matches out of 14 and O’Flynn thinks he was forced out. Hel-lo-oh! Would you not realise even now that this was a ploy to distract Cork and that you fell for it hook, line and sinker? Did you even bother to investigate the specifi...

I hope to God we don't end up reading anything more about "battling spirit" and "honourable defeat". Honourable defeat is fine every so often, but after a while they get very sickening. Five points still with a couple of minutes left.... Well that's exactly what will be said. Le...

Re: Páirc Uí Chaoimh to OCP in 150 minutes
Portlaoise can be bypassed by taking the first exit off the motorway. To make it you would have to get to Dunkettle from the park in half an hour which would be very tough. Wouldnt fancy trying it myself. I've often been below at Dunkettle 20 minutes after the final at club games down at PUC. They ...
