Re: Offaly V Kildare 2nd round of LSFC
Shane Tierney played with Daingean this year and helped them win Junior. A player who didn't get much of a look in with previous mgt's and one of the stand out performers through U21. Joe Maher situation needs to taken off line (not going to be sorted out here), we know nothing about what situation ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
As a mainly football man with a huge interest in the hurling I am genuinely shocked at the performance yesterday. I wanted to see what the lie of the land was here before I comment. Hugely significant point about the manager adapting to the players at his disposal, and building a gameplan around tha...

Just a note to recognise the performance of Neil Flynn also, and sympathy to him and his family on their bereavement. His father would have been a proud man with the performance of free taking. It didn't help us! but only fair to recognise that in light of the tough few days he wouldve gone through.

Re: Adrian Cahill RIP
Sad loss and condolences to his family and friends. He was as people have said such a gifted underage hurler and unfortunately never progressed into Senior squad for any length of time. He gave a great display at wingback on the senior team v Galway in 1990 was it? where he was exceptional for us. T...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
I'd tend to agree with most of POTH has said, (albeit it can get a bit tiresome of "driving" home the same points). We worked the ball really well, maybe this was assisted by the quality of the opposition, but there was a plan and an ambition. How is it fair to have to travel north of the ...

Re: Offaly V Kildare 2nd round of LSFC
Was a lot more positive viewing than possibly any of the league games this year. There is no doubt that the team has potential, but as a poster pointed out we have conceded 20 pts in our last 3 championship matches. Likewise with the Tipp match when we got back near them, Kildare were able to pull a...
