Re: Senior A hurling 2018

CB won't make a fixture plan because they would have to stick to it.

Be no room to provide favours in fixing games for certain days, venues and referees's. That's how it all works right!!

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

4 players missing and 23 players missing is not the same.. you should check your facts first also.. Leonard has hurled senior in the last two years.. Currams only went over in the last few weeks and he hurled intercounty all year so i think it is justification of him being added to the missing list.

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

Looking at the tullamore tribune it looks like KK where missing a lot more than Birr:

Killian Leonard came on as a sub

No Kevin Grogan, Brian Leonard, Conor Mahon or Dan Currams.

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

I heard from a Drumcullen man that the referee was poor and didn't need to send 3 lads off. He didn't bring his own umpires and didn't see the incidents. How can you send three lads off based on information from non neutral umpires. Surely Ballinamere if hosting the game should have provided umpires...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

what a huge F**K up.. i for one was someone who taught carraig had won and had them in a better position than they actually.. also put a different reflection on the table and gives clodiagh gaels a chance of qualifying.. like senior A its goin to be very tight in qualifying for a qf or being in rele...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

3. Birr there away this game were leading till the 58th minite and were missing key players...I think kk are in big bother with the personal they have.. they obviously not in too much "bother" if they would a game in the last 10 minutes.. not saying kk will win the all ireland club or any...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

what is the reason behind balinamere and tullamore not playing until wednesday evening? anyone at any of games over weekend? away on holidays and didn't make it to any.. looks like it will be a big battle between clodiagh gaels, lusmagh, drumcullen and brosna gaels to avoid the drop. really surprise...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers Championship Thread

Heard Paul Rouse on off the ball yesterday and liked everything he said. Similar to Kevin Martin he has a positive and realistic attitude as to where we are at and what needs to be done. Has a positive approach going into the Clare game. Antrim was a necessity and now the Clare game is a test. Test ...

Re: U21 Hurling

Just looking at Paddypower who rarely gets things wrong and according to them tonight will not be good viewing..

Galway 1/66 and Offaly 14/1 for the win..

Handicap is set at 14 points.. Hopefully the lads can do themselves some justice and prove PP wrong..

Re: U21 Hurling

I agree, the lack of south offaly selection just shows where effort was being put into 10 to 14 years ago. Is there is a player from the south not on it that should be on it? Nobody from KK on it? I seen them in minor 2 years ago and Ryan at center back was excellent and Stephen Leonard I taught wou...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread

A hammering here and I'd worry about the next two games. Another good solid performance and why not even a win would keep things ticking along nicely. A hammering, a performance and a win in the same sentence!!! Talk about sitting on the fence.. Paddypower has the handicap at -13 and last week had ...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers Championship Thread

KK got their wake up call vs Dublin. Expect KK to start the game vs Offaly the way they finished vs Dublin. 10 + points win for KK is how I see it going. The one week turnaround will play a major factor towards the end of this game. I agree, plus home advantage is a huge factor. And if we are going...
