Re: What are they smoking in Birr?

Tox what a load of waffel..steel? We have plenty of steel now just not hurlers and if we didn't have Sid we would probably would of won noting in the 90s. Lone shark if we done a survey where posters were from on this website we would find 80% of them are from K/K and further north, so yes it is bi...

Re: Allianz Hurling League Roinn 1B 2016

bord na mona the point is still the same, offaly have fell so far behind the top teams and we still cant manage to get our top club hurlers on board and as a result we are not been fair to young lads putting them straight into key roles on our senior team before they are ready . we have some injurie...

Also, any update on Johnny's injury? It will be a big loss if he's out tomorrow.
Why the big secrecy about the Offaly team, it's just Division 3 of the league!

Re: Allianz Hurling League Roinn 1B 2016

Just said I’d try and kick off a new thread on the upcoming league seeing what people’s expectations are overall as well as in each respective round. Overall I’m hoping Offaly can do reasonable well. I’m not confident in that but am optimistic. Aside from the Wexford game (which was played in very ...

Re: 2016 National League Div 3

Certainly when it comes to playing Westmeath, home advantage would barely be worth a point to either side, such would be the familiarity that each side would have with the other's home ground. 5 years ago that would have been the case, but a lot of the Offaly footballers shop in Aldi and Lidl nowad...

Re: 2016 National League Div 3

In my opinion Offaly will do well to stay in Division 3 this season. We face Longford on Sunday, a team we found hard to beat recently, in a must win game, then away to Kildare the following Sunday. If Offaly lose to Longford, it could be a tough league campaign. We are away to promotion favourites ...

All from Shane Dooley, just one from play. Looks like Eamonn Kelly has a lot of work to do with Offaly ahead of the league.

A good crowd and no major traffic around the park, the facility were clean and the stwerads were sound...
