Re: All Ireland final - Where does it leave us?
i think KK win actually end up winning more the next decade than they will this. They have the majority of the best young hurlers in the County and the system to get them to reach there full potential. If Cody goes Martin Fogarty, multipul U21 All Ire winning manager will step in. Paul Murphy,Kieran...

Re: u21 result
Offaly collapse gifts title to Cats Kilkenny 2-21 Offaly 2-9 By Diarmuid O’Flynn ANOTHER bloodless Leinster title for Kilkenny, this one at U21 level, to go with the senior and minor titles already in the bag, another kick in the guts for Offaly. It was the usual story, one we’ve seen twice already ...

Re: U/21 V Kilkenny goes ahead
i will be going to Thurles better game then to get a good look at Galway have two corporate box tickets for Minor Final Sunday. It's not the County boards fault Leinster council granted a re fixture but when Nicky Brennan got wind the match had to go ahead. i think this will suit Offaly the lads ar...

Re: U/21 V Kilkenny goes ahead
if this does go ahead, and on all known form the Offaly reps are always seen as a soft touch when it comes to such matters, I presume Joe Dooley will have to pull the four seniors from the U21 team or else play them in the u21 and not pick them in the senior. I mean playing 3 serious championship ga...

Re: U/21 V Kilkenny goes ahead
this is an absolute scandal if true. These players, this county is being treated like dirt. Talk about player welfare/health/burnout is total and utter bullcrap. I can image Ned Quinn and Nickey Brennen have good ould chuckle to themselves as we speak.Serious consideration should be given to pulling...

Re: Fixture Clash this Saturday
The sensible thing to do would be to push out our hurling qualifier until Saturday week. The Q-Finals are scheduled for July 27th and the Semi's for Aug 10th (Kilkenny) & Aug 17th (Tipp) so there are options in there if any replays are needed. Ya that makes a lot of sence, have the winners of O...

The thing that stood out for me on Saturday was the pride and hart shown. THis needs to be built on.

theres always the outside chance of Limerick self imploding and civil war breaking out down there. However if they are united camp theyll bet Offaly very easily Im afraid.

THE AFL is considering a radical proposal to launch an Irish-dominated team in Sydney's western suburbs, which would perform before an international audience under the Celtic brand name. Re: Hurling Rules being ignored
KK have perfected a number of tackling techniques which are v questionable to say the least. KK backs, under a dropping ball, consistently put the hurley around their opponents throat /neck and jerk back just before the ball lands unbalancing the poor victim. You'll only cop this if you watch tv rep...
